Pencil = Draw a free form line with the selected line width.
Fill with color = An area in the canvas to fill it with the foreground color on right click to fill it with the background color.
Text = Insert text into the picture.
a) Font size - Change the font size.
b) Font - Change the font.
c) Bold - Change to a heavier font.
d) Italic - Change to an italic font.
e) Underline - Draw a line before the text.
f) Strike through - Draw a line through the text.
Eraser = Erase part of picture and replace it with the background color.
Color picker = Pick a color from the picture and use it for drawing.
Magnifier = Change the magnification for a part of the picture.
Brushes = Draw line with different kind of brushes
Shapes = Insert ready made shape such as rectangles, circle, triangle, etc.
a) Shape outline = Select the medium for the shape outline.
b) Shape fill = Select the medium for the shape fill.
Size = Select the width for the select tool.
Color 1 (Foreground Color) = Select a color from the color palette .This color is used with the pencil and with brushes, as well as for shape outline.
Color 2 (Background Color) = Select a color from the color palette. This color is used with the eraser and for shape fills.
Edit color = Select a color from the color palette.
Select = For selection shapes and option.
a) Rectangular selection - Select a rectangular area by drawing on the canvas.
b) Free form selection - Select an area of any shape.
c) Select all - Select the entire picture.
d) Invert selection - Reverse the current selection.
e) Delete - Delete the current selection from the canvas.
f) Transparent selection - Make the background color in the selection transparent or opaque.
Crop = Crop the picture so it only contains the current selection.
Resize and skew = Resize and skew the picture or selection.
Rotate or Flip = Rotate or flip the picture.
Cut = Cut the selection area from the canvas.
Copy = Copy the selected matter and any object.
Paste = To paste the cut or copied matter.

Zoom in = Zoom in on the current picture.
Zoom out = Zoom out on the current picture.
Rulers = Use rulers to line up and measure object in your picture.
Gridlines = Use gridlines to align objects in your picture.
Status bar = Show or hide status bar at the bottom of the window.
Full screen = View the picture in full screen.
Thumbnail = Show or hide thumbnail window.
New = To create a new page.
Open = Open the same file.
Save = Save the current picture.
Save as = Save the current picture.
Print = Print a current picture.
Page setup = Change the layout of the picture.
Print preview = Preview and make changes before printing.
Send in E-mail = Send a copy of the picture in an e-mail message as an attachment.
Set as desktop background = Set the current picture as your desktop background.
Properties = Change the properties of the picture.
About paint = To show the information about paint.
Exit = To exit from the paint.
