Weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz bagged the first-ever gold medal for the Philippines in their 97-year Olympic history by winning the women's 55-kg competition at Tokyo Olympics. With the Olympic gold medal win, Hidilyn will take with her 33 million pesos (around 5 crore rupees) from the Philippines government and several businessmen. She will also be awarded a house.
